Kamden loves to wear girl shoes and carry around purses!! This is what he does while the kids are at school and I forget to shut Adriann's door! I don't know if you can tell, but he's actually carrying 2 purses!!
We do a babysitting swap with some friends in our ward and this was a few weeks ago. You don't know how hard I tried to get a serious picture out of these guys. This is honestly the best I could get.......At least Bridger looks good, 1 out of 5 isn't bad!
Kenyon is playing Soccer again this year and Akoni is the coach, and I'm the team Mom!! I get a shirt!! Anyway, we have the SAME ugly colors that we had last year! Oh well, the kids chose to be the Alligators. This is opening day and their first game. We have 10 kids on the team, and two of them are 5, the rest are barely 4 and they are the cutest littlest kids ever! It's definitely going to be a season of just FUN play, but it is really fun to watch. And Kenyon has gotten better and is really loving it. I can't wait for this season to get going!
A new family moved into our ward and they have a boy that is Kenyon's age!! Yahoo!! His name is Carson. He is in his class at school and we got him on the soccer team too! They have become quick friends and they are going to be here for at least 2 years, so it's good he'll have a constant friend for the next 2 years at church and school. (one of the down sides of living by so many military families, they come and go quickly and it's hard on all the kids to lose their friends)
I can deal with blood....on other people. When I was working in the Dental field, I wanted so badly to assist with all the extractions and surgeries. Don't ask me why, but I loved loved loved it! It never made me sick to see it, but when it's my own kids that are bleeding, I kind of want to throw up. So when Adriann came into the house screaming and freaking out with blood running down her leg, I handed her a wet paper towel and told her to hold it there. I couldn't even look at it or touch it. So sad I know, but I just can't take that my child is in pain. Anyway, I eventually did look at it and it was bad and deep, so she had to go and get 3 stitches! Again, I couldn't take her, Akoni had to, but he said she was brave and didn't cry at all! So here's a blurry picture, but that's better since it's kind of gross!
