My Museum

I took the kids to My Museum the other day and these are just a couple of pictures that I took. I did not get the picture of them holding the Mice. (They were the snake's food.) And I didn't get a picture of the snake either. But we had a good time and made some fun snakes out of packing peanuts. I love My Museum and love that my kids are both big enough that they can just get carried away with their imaginations and I love to watch them play.

This is Adriann's co-op preschool group. I took their pictures since they weren't going to have pictures taken this year since they weren't going to a real preschool. I think they turned out pretty cute. The kids are so adorable and it has been so much fun teaching them all. I know all us mom's have had the time of our lives!!!!! They are done at the end of this month and then it's summer break till August when they all start Kindergarten! Pretty scary, but these kids are ready for it.

Edward Reaction

I can't really believe I'm posting this because I'm not a fanatic, or as they are officially called "Twihards and Twilighters", but I do love the books. I totally agree with EVERYONE that my image of Edward was not Cedric Diggory from Harry Potter. But they are said to have great chemisty on film. That is what Stephenie Meyer said when she watched some of the filming. So they had better get all the romance right!! Because come on, that's why we fell in love with a vampire!! I do think that he has kind of a sexy accent, so that is always a plus!! Well we'll just have to wait and see I guess. And they are showing a full length preview at the beginning of Speed Racer, so if anyone sees that will you PLEASE let me know if it looks good!!!

I CUT MY HAIR!!!

Well I finally did it. My good friend that cuts everyone's hair here cut and colored my hair and I LOVE IT!!! It's a HUGE change, but I am so glad that I finally got the guts to do it. I'm going to blame it on the NyQuil, because I am still in a fog from it and can't believe I cut all my hair off, but I am so happy with the result. It's exactly what I wanted. I don't know if you can tell but she put some Auburn color in this time with the blonde. I think it looks great and now people won't wonder where Adriann got her red hair from!! It's almost the same color as her hair. And I know the pictures aren't the best but the one's that Adriann took were of like my ear, the top of my head, and my shoulder, so I had to do them myself. I couldn't wait for Akoni to get home to post this. Let me know what you think.

Somehow the Bug Bit Me!

Well I got it! Somehow the bug got me and I feel like it ran me over! Luckily I am not throwing up, I got a different kind of sickness that is all in my lungs. So it's really attractive that I'm coughing all over the place. Basically, don't come over and if you call expect to talk to me between me hacking and blowing my nose! Yeah really pretty!! But I must say that I tried some Mucinex this morning and that is a life saver, but it's giving me the nice coughing. It's getting everything in my lungs to let go and get out! I know i paint such a nice picture! I don't wish this upon anyone.

Adriann's Earings

Adriann has been bugging us to get her ears pierced, but we're mean and we won't let her get them until she's 8. She's the type of girl that carries her jewelry around "so it won't get lost or broken." That what she says, and I say that if she actually wears it, it won't get lost or broken. But she doesn't agree with me. So we really don't think that she would keep earings in right now if she got her ears pierced. So Akoni takes Adriann on daddy daughter dates once a week and last week he took her to the mall, which she says is her favorite place, and got her some clip on earings and a jewelry box to keep them in. She LOVES them. I am so suprised that she hasn't lost any yet. She got 3 pairs, and this is her favorite pair. They are music notes and she calls them her "High School Musical Earings."

Runny Nose Picture

Okay, so it's really not that bad, but enough people have commented about the picture so here it is. I don't think it's illegal to post this right? I did buy it, so I think it's okay. I don't think you can tell in this scanned picture that he has the runny nose, but in the real picture it looks bad.

School Pictures

So we got Kenyon's preschool pictures back today, and I must say he looks ADORABLE, except for the HUGE RUNNY NOSE!!! I don't know how someone did not see that he had a horrible runny nose while they were taking the picture. Aren't these sopposed to be professionals taking the pictures? Do they not look for things like that when taking the pictures? I was very disappointed because the picture is great and I was sure that if we did a retake it would not be as good. And I know it's only preschool, but it would bug me forever and I would never be able to put the picture in his wedding video! So luckily I called the photographer and he said he could just fix the picture for me!! Yeah!! So as soon as I get the de-snotted picture I'll post it.

I know my background is crazy, but I messed it up and it's too late and I have to go to bed, so I found this picture online and it's gonna be up till I get around to changing it. I'm driving myself crazy trying to make my background different. Anyway, it's actually a picture of where Akoni works.

We FINALLY got a couch!

So after being here for over 2 years, we finally got a couch that we will actually keep. NO MORE FUTON! We had a fiasco with a couch from Costco and I bought one on craigslist and then sold it a few weeks later because I don't like leather. But I did sell it for more that I bought it, so it was a good investment! Akoni got his leather recliner that he has always wanted and I got a comfy couch! I love it, so here's a picture.

Birthday!

So I had a great Birthday. I got a new phone! I was using a really cheap go-phone that was a hand me down from Akoni, so I was in desperate need for a new one! I love it! Dinner was awesome and I just had a great day. Thanks for all that wished me a happy day! And here's the picture of my free cake!

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! Yikes I'm 29!

I know it's lame to put up a post that's it's my own Birthday, but whatever, who else is going to do it? I must say though, I got 2 free cakes today, so I'm pretty pumped! When I got Akoni's birthday cake from Baskin Robbins, it was so ugly and so I complained and got a free cake for my birthday! Then today I won a free cake on the radio! I won't get the coupon for a week, so I guess we'll use it for our anniversary. Well I'll post later about how my day went. I'm going to dinner at Sapporo's so I'm stoked. It's like a Benihana's. I can't wait.

Mafia To Mormon

This is such a good book. If you know me and books, once I start one I can't put it down. I got this book yesterday from some friends and I just finished it. Okay it's only 104 pages and big type, but still I couldn't put the book down. It's the true conversion story of a guy that was in the Mafia. AMAZING STORY!!! I really recommend it to everyone! It makes me think that I really could try a little harder. I think I take a lot for granted and it make me appreciate everything that I have. Anyway, let me know if you read and and what you think. Oh, and have a box of tissues close by, it's a tear jearker at times!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AKONI!

So yesterday was Akoni's 29th Birthday! I can't believe we are almost 30! Yikes! Anyway, we took him a big Costco cake to work and some balloons. We also got him his Baskin Robbins cake that I am sopposed to get every year, but I have only gotten him 4 out of 7 years now. At least now I'm above 50%. And I am sad that I didn't get to make him a cake, but he is particular about the ice cream cake so if I made him one he would have gotten 3 cakes and that's too much cake to have lying around the house! Then Akoni and I went to a movie and dinner. Well mall food dinner, but who cares, it was just us and it was fun! We went and saw Jumper. We both really liked it. I know it didn't get good reviews, but it was a fun movie! I would recommend it but don't take kids. They swear a little (and the f* word) and someone gets stabbed in like the first 20 minutes! But other than that it was fun! My good friend Erin came and watched the kids for us and even got some of Akoni's coveted ice cream cake! Lucky girl! So thanks to her for a fun night out without the kids.

WORD WORLD

So I just barely discovered WORD WORLD, thanks to my sis-in-law Shanetta. It is the GREATEST tv show EVER for kids. It's the only thing they watch now. WEll for now because we are doing without tv for a month, but I have to have it in the car for in the mornings with my job. (I'll write about my job later!) Anyway, if you know about the show this was make you laugh, it made me laugh! Adriann colored this.
