My 31st Birthday

I don't have any pictures from my birthday, but I had such an amazing 2 days. My birthday was the 17th, but friday night I had a wonderful dinner with my family at Benihanas (courtesy of doing a mystery shop), and then Akoni dropped me off at Rosines to "pick up dessert", but when I got inside some of my friends were there surprising me!! It was tons of fun, we talked and they all got me gifts!! Totally surprised and unexpected, they are all so awesome! Then 4 of us walked along the wharf for a little bit and then headed home. It was so much fun!

Then on Saturday, we dropped the kiddos off at a friends house an headed up to the Oakland Temple. It was a much needed trip. It's literally an all day trip usually, so when you have friends that owe you a day of babysitting, I had to cash it in for this. Then we went to dinner at Roy's in San Francisco, YUMMY! Akoni had told them that it was my birthday and they had a paper in the menu that said Happy Birthday Kimberly and the pastry chef made a little birthday cake for me with Happy Birthday Kimberly written in chocolate on the plate!! It was amazing! Then went to our super good friends Engagement Party in Santa Clara. They also got me some delicious cupcakes from Sprinkles!! I have always wanted to try their cupcakes and they were divine!

So to sum it up, turning 31 was not bad........I had an amazing weekend and have a ton of people to thank and I love them all dearly for everything they did for me!
Akoni got last minute tickets the other night to a Sharks game and took Kenyon. Do you think he was excited to go?
Here they are outside getting ready to leave with their tickets.
At the rink.
At the game with his Shark hat!

Kenyon had such a fun time. He brought home pom poms and necklaces and free shirts and tattoos for all of us. What a thoughtful guy.

Hand Foot and Mouth, Yuck!

The day after Easter Kamden woke up with all of these sores around his mouth. I could not think of why he would have them. I thought maybe he ate something he was allergic to or was really acidic? Anyway, they got worse as the day went on and I put him in the bath after lunch and noticed that his hands were getting the sores also. Then it hit me, Hand Foot and Mouth disease! The other two kids never got it so I wasn't sure if it was that. I took him to the doctor and Yep, that's what it was. They told me that he had a strange strand of it that's going around where it's not in his mouth, so it shouldn't be painful to him. Well thank goodness for that. But it is still disgusting and we had to stay home all week because it is really contagious in children under 2. Which is a good thing because none of us were at risk of getting it.

So here is Kamden passing the time being stuck at home doing his favorite thing, throwing all the kids dishes on the floor!

HAPPY EASTER!

The kids got their easter baskets and each got a book, a couple small toys, and some bubbles! The kids are trying to go with no candy till Christmas, so they didn't get any candy and it was very nice!!

Kamden got a duck, because honestly he doesn't care yet!

The Easter Bunny decorated the hallway with eggs.
The Easter Egg Hunt! The Easter Bunny somehow knew that the kids weren't eating candy, so he put nickles in all the eggs! How thoughtful! Kamden was stealing eggs from everyones baskets!
This is my favorite picture, Kamden really got into the hunt!! He was so excited about finding all the eggs!

SPRING BREAK at Home Depot

Spring Break was Last Month, I'm a little behind, but I wanted to share what we did. The first week was fun to just sleep in and be lazy! Yeah we have 2 weeks for Spring Break! Then the second week we went to the Spring Break Camp at Home Depot. Every morning from 9-11, they had an activity for the kids to do. It was so fun, they got to color tiles, paint pots and plant flowers, run a relay race, and one day a turtle sanctuary brought a ton of turtles for the kids to pet and feed. It was such a fun thing for them to look forward to every day.

I just learned that the first Saturday of every month they hold a workshop for kids. So the last day of the week just happened to be the first Saturday of April, and so we got to go to an official workshop. They get to do a craft and they get a button to put on their apron (which they got during the camp). So they can collect the buttons. They are so cute and have a picture of what the days activity is. So this activity was to make a hummingbird house and the button had a picture of the house on it!

They also get a certificate when they complete their activity!
You can also stay and paint the houses, but I really didn't want to transport wet houses in the car, so we opted to paint them at home!
